While taking a bath a monkey jumped onto the window ledge and tried to get in the bathroom! Other that, this was a relaxing space.
Our honeymoon bungalow was so secluded in the middle of the game reserve that we needed an armed guard to walk us to and from our room! Just in case there was a lion on the path….yikes.

On safari in Kruger National Park, how sweet are those babies! The saying should be Mama Elephant not Mama Bear…these ladies were very protective.

We visited this village in Botswana. The children were dancing to the beating of the African drums while their mothers looked on and smiled. Kids and mothers are the same ALL over the world.

Our tree house accommodations in the middle of the African bush. I have never seen so many stars in the night sky! The hyenas ‘laughing’ in the middle of the night was a little jarring however.
